About Us

Our Story

Peggy and Dick met while working together at a radio station in La Crosse, Wisconsin. They soon discovered that they shared a love of music—and many of the same musical tastes.

Before long, they began getting together to play music. The music led to dating, dating led to falling in love, and eventually they were married.

Music has been part of their life together ever since.

Making Music Together

Music has always been part of Peggy and Dick’s life together. Wherever they lived, they played music at home simply for the fun of it—and whenever the opportunity came along, they played for others too.

Dick’s career in radio took them to several different cities. While living in Lincoln, Nebraska, they began playing with other musicians they got to know.

Later, in Des Moines, Iowa, Peggy and Dick performed as part of KSO Radio’s Great Country Caravan. Through the Caravan, they met a talented jazz guitarist from another group. The three began performing together as a trio, playing jazz standards and discovering another musical style they both loved.

Eventually, Peggy and Dick made their way back to La Crosse, Wisconsin. Since returning, they’ve continued making music together—performing both as a duo and as part of a jazz quartet.

And through all the moves, changes, and years together, one thing has remained constant: the joy of making music together.

The Music We Play Today

Today, Peggy and Dick enjoy bringing familiar songs and good memories to audiences throughout the area. Their repertoire reaches from the 1940s through the 1990s, with music chosen to entertain, bring back memories, and give people a reason to smile and sing along.

For Peggy and Dick, performing has never been just about playing the notes. It’s about sharing the music they love with people who love it too.
